Growing up I was obsessed with pandas and I always loved this non-profit because I knew they were helping endangered animals like the panda. This logo is very effective because pandas are a widely known endangered species and China's pride and joy so it is widely loved too. By using it as their symbol they associate their non-profit with a wildly loved animal which causes people to want to donate money. The design is also a minimalistic, monochromatic style that lacks outlines for the panda which creates more visual interest. The style stands out from previously made illustrations of pandas making their logo a household image which is why it is so successful.
