I grew up mostly watching Disney channel shows so watching Disney stars draw this logo holds fond memories for me. This logo is successful because the outline is in the shape of Mickey Mouse which is a household name that many children worldwide grew up watching. The font used to spell out Disney is simple in a way that looks like it was written in ink as it varies in width and is very smooth which is a reminder of Disney's old black and white cartoon style.
