St Jude Children’s Research Hospital focuses on finding cures to treat catastrophic diseases in children. They raise money through fundraising, donations, and selling merchandise. Their logo consists of simple serif text that is easily readable when blown up to fit the size of building’s facade or shrunken down to fit their website page. At the top of their logo above the text is an image of a child posed in side profile reinforcing their mission to help children. I would say this logo is well designed because, in its simplicity, it is distinctly distinguishable which has allowed the hospital’s mission statement to spread. They want people to be able to recognize their logo easily so people will donate to their cause and support them worldwide.
