Disneyland’s map is designed to be used by people of all ages to help them navigate the park. When I went to Disneyland in second grade, the map’s usage of large images of well-known landmarks are still fresh in my mind to this day. By color coding and numbering areas near certain attractions, viewers are better able to understand where attractions are located in the park. This technique assists people in getting around more easily and shows that Disney is mindful of design principles and elements. The thoughtful design makes it easy for park-goers to read and process information quickly, adding to the overall pleasantness of their experience.
