The maps app on my iPhone is extremely useful and easy to navigate. I always use it to find directions when I am driving long distances or somewhere new. When you open the map, you can click on “Search for a place or address” which allows you to type in the address of the location you want to go. If you do not know the address, you can type in the name of the place and the app will show you all the options nearby. For example, if I type in BB&T it will show me all the BB&T locations near my apartment as well as additional information on each one. This information includes the bank’s address, business hours, website address, and phone number. When I click “Directions”, a map pops up in the middle of the screen which highlights the route as well as text expressing step by step directions at the top of the screen. I love this app because the directions are always very clear and if I don’t understand the written directions at the top of the screen, I can always look at the map to helps me understand.
