Amazon.com is one of my favorite places to shop online. The website is easy to navigate since all you have to do is click on the search bar and type in what you want to find. You can further specify your search by clicking “all” and a drop-down menu will appear, and you can select a category like “Home & Kitchen” or “Electronics”. Being able to specify what category you want to search for is a good design feature because it helps buyers specify what they are looking for if what they typed in was vague, therefore saving them time having to search for what they want. I use amazon all the time to buy stuff I need. I like how they put items that have “Amazon Prime” at the top of the results since people often want cheap and quick shipping. Another great design feature is after you search for an item, on the left side of the web page you can set specifications like price range, specify sellers, and even set by star rating. Additionally, I like how they show what items you recently clicked on at the bottom of the web page so you can go back and view them. I often use this to go back to previous items I looked at, which saves me time since I do not have to go looking for them again. They also make recommendations for you based on past items you looked on. I like how they put “cart” and “Account & Lists” in the top right of the page because it is easy to see and access.
