The notes app on my iPhone is extremely useful and I prefer to use it to write out my weekly schedule rather than using a calendar or a planner. When you open the app, you will first see all the folders which you can use to organize where you want to put your notes. To write a note, you first click on the folder you want to put the notes in and then click the icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to create a new note. The app allows you to make tables, draw, add bulleted/numbered lists, and format your text into titles, headings, and body. There are also the options to italicize, underline, bold, and strike through text. I use this app to plan out what assignments or chores I need to do each week. Unlike a planner or a paper calendar, with this app I don’t have to carry around anything less compact than my phone which saves me space in my backpack. A phone can be stored in my pants pocket making it easily accessible. It is very easy to edit my notes by simply copying and pasting to move text around or by using the backspace button to delete text. On the other hand, with paper I have to use an eraser or rewrite entire sections if I need to move something.
