Google's most recent logo introduced in 2015 uses a sans-serif typeface, making the logo easier to read on smaller screens. From a first glance the logo looks to be set in Futura, a common font designed by Paul Runner 1927. Futura is a very geometric typeface, but Google made some changes to this typeface so it could better suit the image they were looking for. Some of these changes include the crossbar of the G being slightly higher, the crossbar of the E being slanted up, and the L being shorter. I use Google everyday for my school work or when I'm just trying to look up information. I think the color scheme for this logo is fitting for what the company provides to its users.
