This is the 400 chair 'SEAT' sculpture in Atlanta's Freedom Park created by Ju Lee and Brian Bush. The chair is designed to imitate the structure of a wave coming out of the ground. I think this piece says a lot without saying much at all. Without the addition of color, these chairs embrace their natural essence, making the sculpture come full circle since it's home is also out in nature. The medium of chairs speaks volumes to me and I think many people could gather something different from looking at it. To me, it says come and sit. It is inviting and earthy, spreading a message of liveliness and gathering. The chairs are waiting to be filled, just like people are waiting to be fulfilled.
