I keep a Pinterest board of typography that just really inspires me and this is one of my favorites. I think this piece, by (I think) Fred Woodward, is captivating and leaves me wanting more. Not only is the typeface great for this piece, it really brings out and highlights what makes this typeface beautiful. The ball terminal on the two story 'a' is really awesome at such a large scale. By making the piece large scale like this, it makes the smaller details in the typography really stand out. For example, the sharp curve of the 't' and 'a' are really eye-catching and quirky. I really enjoy looking at the ways that letters in a type can connect through their similarities like this and would love to see more like it in different typefaces.
