Swedish designer, Daniel Carlmatz, took it upon himself to design one minimalistic logo a day for a year. He would chose a common word and add elements to it to make that word come alive through its definition. This is one of my favorites. My typography I class did something very similar to this and it has been, so far, one of my favorite projects. I think this form of typography is humorous, interesting, and for me it always leaves me wanting more or wondering what words I could try. This one is really interesting because it really doesn't manipulate the type in a way that it's changing its typeface form, which is the style most of Daniel's other creations are. Instead, this one just cuts the text, keeping it in its original form, not bending or extending any features. I like that aspect, and the fact that the point gets across very quickly.
