VSCO, created by visual supply company, is a photography mobile app that allows users to take photos in the app and edit them through the app's filters and other editing tools. You are also able to post these photos into a community of other photographers that use the app. The logo design is minimal, clean, and simple, which I love. Its design mimics the overall layout of the app, and functions simply so that the user is able to navigate throughout the app easily. One of the things that makes this app so effective is the consistency within the app's look, voice, and navigation. I also believe that the simple design in a way helps to not distract from the concept of the app being a space for creatives so that they are able to make it their own. The minimal design serves as a blank canvas.
