For this environmental post, I decided to share a bus stop in Baltimore, Maryland. It is made out of pine wood and steel. As you can see, the letters say BUS and they can be sat on, stood on, or laid on while waiting for the bus. I think that this is a very cool and interesting design. It is very straight forward but the idea behind it is my favorite thing about it. To use the word "bus" as seating at a bus stop is very clever. I also like that you can see the wood planks that form the letters. That design choice makes the seating have a more organic feel. I'm sure that it is a design that draws a lot of attention and that is usually the goal of a designer.
