Customers around the world naturally refer to the Dunkin' Doughnuts brand as "Dunkin'" long before the introduction of its tagline, "America Runs on Dunkin'". In recognition of this relationship and as one of the many steps to transform itself into a beverage-led, on-the-go brand, the company unveiled its new branding in September of 2018 that officially recognizes its name as simply "Dunkin'". The change officially took place in January of this year. "We are bringing the iconic name Dunkin' to the forefront in a bold way that brings to life how we refill optimism with each cup and bring fun, joy and delight to our customers each and every day." I think this change in branding will be good for their company and looks better on small packing such as their coffee cups.
