The Clock app on my iPhone is one of the many apps I use in my daily routine. The app’s icon is a picture of a clock and when you open the app there are several options at the bottom of the screen. The “World Clock” option allows you to add clocks for different cities all over the world. This is extremely useful for people who travel a lot or have family overseas. My mother often uses it to check what time it is in South Africa before calling my family that lives there. The section option is the “Alarm” allows you to set and edit old alarms as needed. I use it every day to tell me when I need to wake up for school and is easy to use. To create a new alarm, you click the “plus” symbol in the top right corner and set the hour, minute, second, and select a.m. or p.m. To activate the alarm there is a little next to each saved alarm you can click to activate or turn off an alarm. The “Bedtime” option allows you to set reminders to let you know when you should go to bed. While this option might be useful to some, I do not use it. The fourth option is a “Stop Watch” which allows you to record how long it takes you to do something. I use this when I am practicing a speech to make sure I am staying within the time limit. It is easy to use. All you have to do is click “start” to start the timer and “stop” to pause it. If you click “reset” the timer goes back to zero. The last option is the “Timer.” I use this option just about every day. To use it you just set the timer to the hour, minute, and second you need and click start. This is extremely easy to use, and I use it for cooking and doing laundry. The only downside to this option is you cannot set more than one timer at a time. Overall the app is designed so even people like me who get confused around technology can use it easily.
