This is the logo for American Eagle Outfitters. It consists of the Newburgh typeface, which looks classic and professional with its slab serifs and varieties in line weight. The logo, of course, also includes a silhouette of an eagle, which relates to the name of the business. Despite the name of the company, the logo does not have much of a patriotic feel. If the words were in red white and blue and the eagle was colored it definitely would be more American, but the fact that it is in all black gives it a sophisticated and youthful feel, which matches its target audience and clothing.
