This environmental example of graphic design is the design of the outside of an elevator. I assume that this elevator is in a building with a lot of floors, so having the number of the floor outside of the elevator could be helpful to let people know where they are. The number of the floor, 5 is large and prominent in this design. The 5 is very bold and is colored a bright red. The red stands out very well on the white background, making the 5 very easy to read.
