This design is called "Absorbed by Light" and displays a powerful message. This is a really impactful sculpture as it says a lot without saying anything at all. The message is obviously that people are absorbed by their phones and don't pay attention nearly as much to their surroundings as they used to because of the technology at their fingertips. I think that it would be hard to want to sit on this bench, especially on my phone, as it would make me feel like I also am absorbed by my phone. Overall, I respect the design of this sculpture a lot and recognize the message it is sending.
