This logo is for the website, Netflix. The logo for Netflix used to be the entire name but now that they have notoriety, they were able to change their logo to just an N. The iconic colors of Netflix are black and red, so it is obviously the colors they used for their logo. It is likely that the designers chose red as one of their main colors because it is often a color that is associated with movies, one of Netflix's main features.
