For this design, I recognized the illustration almost immediately. The illustrator, Abbey Lossing, is one that I've followed on social media for a while and I think it's great as an artist that I can immediately recognize her work and style. Here is a flyer for an event called the Lost and Found Market. It's a place where you can get secondhand objects, food, and has music. This seems like a really laid-back event, and I think the poster design reflects that. I enjoy how the typography is simple in contrast to the elaborate illustration design, especially with the colors on the man's shirt. I also like how the ampersand reminds me of a piece of thread. The typography used in the poster, to me, also reflects an old-fashioned display font used in earlier popsters. I also really love the colors used in the posters, I think all of them go well together.
