I have been very intrigued with packaging design lately and this is one that caught my eye. I really enjoy the color palette of the packaging for the Raaka chocolate bar. Each flavor has it's own unique design with the colors seeming to be incorporated based on some of the main ingredients included in the bar. Although I do enjoy this idea of not setting the colors from light to dark, I would like to see if it would create some type of gradient effect if placed differently. I am also not sure that I love the brand's typeface used for "Raaka" mostly because I am not quite sure of what function it serves, but it's not distracting or takes away from the design as a whole. I like the bold typeface for the flavor name of the bar so that you immediately know what you're getting, with the contrasting sans serif type below that remains consistent with each bar. Overall, I do really love the design of these bars and think it stands out among other treats because the packaging is so vibrant and well-designed. It's what caused me to buy one in the first place.
