I chose the floor plan for my apartment as part of the Environmental (interior) design. This floor plan was extremely helpful prior to moving in because it allowed my room mates and I to plan out and measure where we could put our furniture and see how much room we would have. Even with my room, figuring out the total floor space helped me buy an appropriate sized desk and mattress that would fit without compromising walking room. Even though it seems typical, knowing floor plans of new living spaces before moving in is certainly helpful, so these kinds of designs come in handy for people of all ages looking for new living arrangements. For the most part, this floor plan was measured correctly, however, I did notice that our rooms were off by almost half a foot in length and width. I had originally planned to have a nightstand, but when I tried to place it in my room, there wasn't enough room between the door and my bed. So overall, this design was helpful, even though it wasn't 100% accurate. #environmental #alexpillow
