Most, if not all of us, use social media every day. One of the social media apps that I frequent is Twitter. I still remember making a Twitter account in 6th grade as required by our computer teacher, and now I realize that I made that old account before the Twitter Bird logo even existed. They added the bird into their logo in 2010, because of what I assume to represent the sound of a "tweet". However, I think the bird could possibly represent the quickness of sending a tweet, just 140 characters and boom, moving on. I think Twitter captured their brand perfectly with this logo. Not only does it represent the "tweet", but it stands behind Twitter's whole purpose of sending and receiving information quickly, just as a bird flies around chirping to other birds. #identity #alexpillow
