This is a screenshot of  NextBus, an application that allows AppalCart users to get more information about the different routes and times until a bus will stop next. I've been using this app since I started riding the AppalCart back in August of last year, and once I got used to it, it became very useful for daily use. At every bus stop, there a list of when each bus stops throughout the day, but I found it frequently inaccurate by nearly 10 minutes. Due to this fault, I'd been late to class numerous times. When I started using NextBus, I found it easier to just look up my bus stop and see how long until the bus was arriving next. The way the information was set up was initially confusing (like where the bus was picking up and heading towards), but after figuring out what the symbols meant, it became easier. I'd say this design is effective enough, so while there could be improvements, it works when necessary.
