Although it's hard to read from this picture, this is a small handout that I was given on App State's campus. It first appeared to be a business card, but then I realized that it opened up into several different panels. The main idea behind the handout is mental health awareness and is easily identifiable on the front panel. When opened, the inside panels talk about what to do if you or someone you know is in crisis, how to identify signs of potential suicide, and resources with business hours and phone numbers listed clearly. I think that this is a greatly effective design. It's small enough to fit in one's wallet, the information is clearly blocked together, it's easy to read, and has nearly everything someone would need to know about a mental health crisis. I really hope that more of these are passed out to students.
