In one of my previous posts, I talked about how I believed that iPhones are more widely used in the U.S. because they have a simpler, easier to use interface than other Android phones. Oddly enough, a group of Pentagram designers have just released some new designs for the Samsung Galaxy's interface. Now this is a much better design than the previous interface. It's much cleaner, simpler, and not as claustrophobic. Whereas I hated the interface of my old Samsung phone, I can definitely say that I may find this one more appealing than my current iPhone. Because of this, I'd say that the design is effective compared to the old ineffective design.
