This is a coaster that was given to me at the Deep River Brewery in Clayton, NC. Usually I would've overlooked the design of the coaster and simply used it to put my drinks on, but for some reason I decided to give it a closer look. My eyes were firstly drawn to the illustration of mountains and a river, which made me keep scanning across the design to see the name of the brewery next, "Deep River." I then saw "Brewing Co." under the illustration, piecing the entire name of the company together. From that point I saw the website name, and afterwards I noticed all of the different names of their top selling beers. Usually I'm not a big fan of curved text because I find it hard to read, but curiously enough I found this design easier to read. There's a clear hierarchy of importance of the information provided, the smallest text is still easily readable, and I don't think any important information, besides the location of the brewery, was left out.
