The Veteran of Foreign Wars is a nonprofit veterans service organization combined of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. Because my dad is a retired marine, my family has been associated with the VFW for a large portion of my life. I used to go to their events as a kid and started volunteering for them once I got older. My favorite part about seal is the many different components in it. It includes the Cross of Malta and the American eagle.
