This is the logo for the brand of beverages called Schweppes, I picked this logo because I drink a lot of ginger ale and typically Schweppes brand ginger ale is the one I go to. The logo itself is very simple but uses eye-catching colors and hierarchy to draw your attention to it. The use of very few colors makes the logo appear simple and easy to read and the shape of the logo makes it stand out amongst logos that just go straight across. I think the logo itself works and gets the brands name across well along when the company was founded but I feel like there's something extra that it still needs to make it stand out more like in comparison with Canada dry's logo or Seagrams logo. I couldn't find the exact typeface of the logo but some websites point to it possibly being Lucida Bright Demibold which seems extremely close. I think the typeface used in the logo is a bit boring so maybe if they changed the font to something more bubbly and eyecatching for a drink brand.
