This is the book cover to one of my all-time favorite young adult fiction books Before I fall. The book is very emotional and takes place in a high school between 4 teenage girls and the girl that they bully. I believe that the cover works very well with the overall theme of the book and is quite beautiful. It shows a young teenage girl that is meant to represent the main character Samantha and shows her lying on the ground to signify that she has fallen. The title goes over her face to emphasize the importance of falling within this book and that the I in the title refers to Samantha. The hierarchy on the cover is very clear and gets it's point across, you see the title first then the author, then the new york times best seller and then the reaction quote. It allows your eyes to jump around the cover and take it all in as you read the words on it. I think the only flaw is the color of green used for the reaction quote because it is over the grass in the photo which makes it hard to read.
