This is the app logo and icon for Webtoon, webtoon is a site for self-publishing manga or illustrated stories to reach a wide audience across the world. Webtoon is a subsection of the app called Line that is a texting app primarily used in eastern Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea. Webtoon is meant for people to socialize while enjoying original illustrated stories from well-known artist to underground artist. I enjoy reading the stories on this app because they're mostly brightly colored and interesting. The graphic style of the logo is fun and resembles a layered or double text box, this gets the point across that the app refers to some form of communication and dialogue outside of texting other people. The color of green that is used is the same color used for the icon for Line, it's mother company. The bubbly and bolder letters make the app appear fun and inviting and helps draw the eye in. The design is simple yet effective and to me doesn't have any major flaws despite its oversimplified nature.
