This is a map of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, NY. My relationship with this map is that I've been to the Met, and have used the map before to find the different exhibits while I was exploring the museum. This map is used to help people navigate the large museum that is the Met and find what they're looking for in the different exhibits. This map helped me to not get lost while I was going through the different exhibits with friends and to help me find the exhibits we really wanted to see and experience. The map is very well designed because it's not too complicated and helps you find where the exhibits are and what wing of the building they're located in. The names of the exhibit are in red lettering to make them stand out against the floor plans and the different rooms are number and on the map brochure handout, it includes what each number room contains. This map is extremely helpful and definitely needed if you are going into the Met for the first time as we were.
