This is both the logo and sign outside of the Crooked Tail Cat Cafe located in Greensboro, NC. I have wanted to visit this cat cafe for a while but still, have not had the opportunity to do so but hopefully will be visiting it over the summer. Following the trends of cat cafes, the cafe has a cafe part that includes coffee, tea, and other drinks along with a cat playroom section that holds a number of adoptable cats searching for potential homes through the store. The logo includes a circular style motif that looks like the foam on top of a cup of coffee that has a cat design in the middle. The logo is very simple but looks very nice and gets the point across for what the store contains. The typeface used around this logo is very plain and blocky, this typeface is most likely used to not distract from the center of attention that is the logo of the store. I think this design works very well but I do wish they would've used a more exciting font to add to the visual as a whole instead of just separating the words from the logo. I would have used something that resembled script a bit more or something more flowing to further convey the friendliness the store is going for.
