This is the original movie poster for the adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining. This design is used to draw in the consumer to be interested in the movie that the poster represents. This plays an important role in my life because I enjoy The Shining as it's one of my favorite classic movies and also one of my favorite books. I believe it's very eye-catching as the black words stand out very well against the yellow background. My only complaints are that to me the design of Jack Torrance's face is kind of cringy and not the best designed. Other than the face in the words, the rest of the design is done very well. Especially with the phrase that is listed at the top.
