This is the Opera House in Guangzhou, China which is an opera house that was designed by late architect Zaha Hadid. I learned about Hadid through the designer project and found her architecture to be very interesting and unique because it really embodies the idea of postmodern architecture. This is by far one of my favorite pieces by her because of the use of light and reflective surfaces which creates a very beautiful glowing effect that makes it feel like a beacon at night. I think this design works very well and feels like it suits the grandeur that an Opera House is supposed to emit. The odd shape of it is very interesting and eye-catching and certainly draws the viewer in which must help with business for this opera house.
