This is the logo for the Lego company, which I personally love. The logo is extremely effective, as most people tend to recognise it immediately. The high contrast between the red and yellow, as well as the black and white on the letters, makes it stand out in toy stores and other places where Lego products will be found. Lego certainly established themselves as a reliable company when it comes to brick-building sets, so insuring that their logo stands out amongst their competitors by using such a high degree of contrast is extremely intelligent. I know when I see this logo on a shelf my eyes automatically dash over to it.
