Joshua Koontz #7 Typography

Typography #7
The font used in the Dollar Tree signage is almost never consistent. I go to the dollar store somewhat frequently and noticed this once I started my Type 1 class. In this photo, you can clearly see that the letterforms on the front of the building are italicised and sans-serif, yet when you go to the window the logo changes. It no longer slants to the right nor does it remain in all upper cased. I find this to be quite annoying and can’t really wrap my head around why they would not want to choose one consistent design for their letters.
