In this image, there is a drawing of a banana, using typography to take form. These are block letters with cross hatching to create depth, as well as an illusion to understand what is being portrayed. Funny enough, the reason why I chose this was for one: being allergic to bananas, and two: how great the typography is and well resolved, since the text is taking the form of the object. There is great detail with the brown specs, the hard end of the banana, and the stem that is taken on by the letter “a”. Not only is the design good, but the fact that there is a shadow below the object, really makes it stand out and become a design piece, rather than just an illustration.
