This is more of a random thing I thought about, but I would like tot all about the design of packs of birth control pills. Each pack hold four weeks of pills, and they are arranged in a way so that they help the user take them when they need to. It is easy to tell when you miss a day, and easy to follow the flow of the pills in the order they are meant to be followed. It is organized like a chart, with a Y axis on the left (start, week 2, etc.), and an x Axis at the top (day of the week). You simply take the pills in order, following the arrows until you reach the end of the pack. I think this design works well because you can see and track right in front of you which pills you took and which ones you didn't. You know the next day when you miss one. If all 28 pills were stored in one bottle you might completely forget that you missed one, or accidentally take two in one day. (You also would have to dump all of them out to count them, which could cause all sorts of other problems, lost pills etc.) In essence, I think this is good design.
