This is the single cover for a sing released by George Watsky last year, and I really like how it relates to the song, "Welcome To the Family". The cover is a work of embroidery on a hoop, giving it a homemade and wholesome feel. This song, and the album after it, are both about Watsky getting back to his roots and traveling the country performing with his fellow musician friends. This goes with the theme of home and family. The family refers to his old friends, who he was going to tour with again. This cover fits this single so nicely because it is plain and simple taking directly to his friends- no matter who they are, he accepts them and wants to continue his creative journey with them.
