This is the name/logo of one of my favorite cheaper makeup brands named Hard Candy. Hard candy's packaging and the company tries to appeal to people that tend to dress in a more punk and retro fashion so that is what they typically attract. The logo is very simple, it's just the words Hard Candy with a heart underneath it except the letters in Hard are separated. This seems to be done to make the word hard to extend past candy and give a hierarchy but it's honestly not very fitting and looks kind of cheesy. The logo to me is extremely simplified and needs to be redone since it looks like something that was designed in MS Paint. Though being one of my favorite makeup brands I really think their logo design and franchising needs to be revamped to appeal to more people because it looks more like children's makeup rather than something someone who is an adult would want to wear. The words used a very blocky typeface that has no serif and is in all caps which is a reoccurring thing in brand names but paired with the font feels too in your face.
